4/2/2017 Update: Well another great success story from our family to another…a great success story for No Borders Bulldog rescue..Our boy Bruno was adopted this past Sunday and headed to Longview, Tx

Bruno came to us from Arkansas. He was driven to one of our awesome volunteers in Texarkana then to Rockwall where we picked him up..at 1st he was shy but once we arrived home he had run of the house, the couch, bed, and everything in between. He did not need any training and paired well with our other bullys..really all he wanted was love and belly rubs,  which he received plenty at home and the few events he attended. We hope we didn’t spoil him to much and his new family doesn’t think he is needy. Bruno was an easy foster to say the least. We are sure that the DeLoch family will be very pleased with the type of gentlemen Bruno is. Thank you so much for adopting and Thank you so much for adopting with No Border Bulldog Rescue.

3/27/2017 Update:  What a beautiful weekend for bulldogs.  Bruno had a great weekend.  His foster dad umpired baseball all day Saturday and Bruno was in attendance for all the bell rubs, and let me tell you, he indeed got lots of them.  Everyone loved him, and they were so amazed how gentle he is.  In fact he was such a hit he had a request from an elderly lady to come sit near her so she could pet him.  She had a walker and didn’t get around real well.  Of course this was nothing for Bruno, what walker, let me love you like a bulldog loves.

Bruno also had a meeting on Saturday evening.  This couple drove up from east texas after a soccer game to see Bruno.  The were very please with his behavior at the ballpark.  Were surprised with all the running jumping and screaming kids and parents that he was Mr. Cool.  They are looking for a fur-ever family member that is good around kids (as he would be going to soccer games) and adults, well mannered and very sociable.  Bruno showed them he was all of that and then some.  Keep your fingers crossed for Bruno that this is the family he has been waiting for.

3/6/2015 Update: Bruno had a great Saturday.  He always loves seeing all the bulldogs in rescue along with meeting all the people who come out to give head rubs and belly rubs.  This guys is just the perfect lil man.  He loads right up in the truck to go on rides, he goes out to potty and he has no food or toy aggression. He is not a fan of the bath, you have to pick him up and put him in the tub, but he will stand there while you get him nice and white. Is there ever a perfect bulldog, yes, but not like Bruno. He is perfect in his unique bulldog way.  The next day after his bath he will sneak away to get a lil roll in the dirt, no matter how close you watch him….he has to add his own signature on how he wants to look before a big event.  hahaha

He sleeps at the end of our bed at night, he never moves when he settles in.  When you are making his breakfast or dinner he will hop around and follow you to show his appreciation.
If you miss out on this guy, you are going to miss out on the GREAT Bruno, and there will never be another one.  He gets worried with a lot of human horse play, he is afraid someone is hurting someone and he will bark, nothing more than just bark to let you know he does not approve.  It is like he is scolding you for picking on someone.  lol

2/27/2017 Update: Bruno. …. I can not believe this boy has not been snatched up.   He is the easiest bulldog we have had.   Every week his personality gets better.   He loves to lounge,  but if you want to play,  well he is up for that too.  He is a good snuggle too if you need a snuggle buddy.  He doesn’t have accidents in the house.   He gets along with the other dogs.

2/4/2017 Update: Although we have only had Bruno for 3 weeks, let me tell you what this bulldog would win the award for bulldog with the most personality.  Where to start with him….

When he first came to us he was so timid and shy, haha he really isn’t.  He gets along with his foster brother Titan, and his guinea pig foster brother Oreo.  I just can’t imagine him not getting along with anything.  If you want a lap dog, he is a great lap dog.  He will curl up and go right to sleep and not bother you.  If you don’t want him on the furniture he will curl up on the floor.  He is that easy.
When you get home from work he is there to let you know you were gone forever, he missed you so much, see me see me pet me…..He will run from our bedroom to the kitchen and back because he knows after I change it is time to get the food dishes ready.  The way he does it with such excitement, like a kid waking up to Christmas presents.  He is like this every day.  In the morning it is no different.  If you are feeling down, he is you dose of happiness.  He loves to play, but doesn’t play rough. The first couple of days we did have some potty accidents but once he got used to the work and potty routine it pretty much fixed it self. We do use a belly band while at work just in case.

1/13/2016 Update:  Please welcome Bruno to the NBBR family. Bruno is a 4 year old English Bulldog that weighs 47 lbs.

Bruno joined the NBBR family as a stray. He was found by his guardian angel who contacted us to see if NBBR could help reunite him with his family.  We took Bruno in and placed him with a local foster to ensure he was safe while we searched for his family.  Our first step was to take him to a vet to check for a microchip but none was found.  After contacting the local shelter to register him and to see what the protocol was, we were told he would need to be posted for 5 days before he would be considered abandoned. In addition to registering with the shelter, NBBR posted Bruno on local missing pet sites and posted flyers around the neighborhood where he was found.  After two weeks with zero response,  we will consider Bruno abandoned and begin the search for his new forever home.

While in his temporary foster home Bruno got along with everyone (even the CAT). While Bruno got along with the cat, if the cat were to run, the chase was on.  Bruno especially loved his little human foster siblings, so much so, he was at times overprotective of them if he thought they were in danger.

Bruno has moved to a permanent foster family where he can relax until his new forever family can be found.  He will be going to the clinic this week to get a thorough exam and any necessary medical treatment. Once released from medical hold he will be ready to start his journey to find his forever family.
