10/15/2018 Update: Bucklynn has been doing good and has not had any eating issues these last few weeks.
She enjoyed a fun Road trip to Houston last weekend and is really not enjoying all this rain.

Hi Everyone!
Bucklynn here, just want you all to know I plan on getting myself all beautiful again for this weeks NBBR event at the Hollywood Feed located at 129 S. Main ST #105 in beautiful Grapevine Texas from 11-2.
WOW, I’m starting to sound like a commercial, I truly think I have been watching way too much TV, which I love doing with my Foster Dad. We sit together and watch all kinds of TV shows since it way too Hot to Work outside or in the Garage, I always follow him around, he can’t get away from me!
Last week was crazy busy, we went on another road trip to Houston, and it was super fun! I love taking rides in the car. Anyway, I keep hearing my Foster Mama and Foster Dad talking about this weekend trip to Grapevine, So I guess it’s gonna be another ROADTRIP!!!!! YAY! So, come out to meet me along with some of my other foster Bullies, who are also looking for a Forever home. Then maybe enjoy the wonderful sights of Grapevine! See ya on Saturday!

Bucklynn Here…Helloooooo
Once again, I get to travel to this fabulous city called Houston, with my Old German Fur-Sister, she is nice (sometimes), but I don’t care I love her anyways and Plus I usually get along with everyone. Houston is a great City everyone keeps talking about theses Houston Astros going to some World series again; not sure what that’s about. Houston was really hot so I had to stay inside nearly the whole weekend. See, us Bulldog cannot handle the heat and I can fall into a heat stroke really fast, sooooo, my foster parents make me stay inside the house nearly all times. I don’t understand why we came back I think it might be hotter here in Dallas. The car ride was fun, I do love riding in my Foster daddy’s car and looking out the window, accept when he hits the curves to fast (He thinks he some race car driver or something). Nothing else going on here, will catch up with you all later….

Bucklynn here! This was a good day, my foster dad and I went for a drive. He said I was a good girl and I was a Princess.
Just like someone my foster mom keeps talking about, Meghan someone…??
Anyway…. I am doing really well with my foster family, even my mean little German foster sister, mom said fur sister was grumpy because she is really old, but sometimes she allows me to sleep next to her.
I stay inside a lot because of this horrible heat during the day, but I don’t mind, where else would a Princess be….

Bucklynn here!
I had such a great weekend, I went on an awesome road trip with my foster family; I had such a great time. We stopped a couple of times along the road to go …you know…. My foster daddy said I was a good girl, I went to do my business and I never left his side. I always want to be by his side, unlike my foster sister, she runs around like a silly dog (I am just happy to be by his side). I fell asleep for a while and the next thing I knew, we were almost home. I was well behaved and I smiled at all the slow-moving cars my Foster daddy kept passing up as we went through Downtown Dallas.
But I loved being in the car and am always ready to go on a road trip… I meet some new people and they all wanted for me to stay with them, but my foster daddy told them to fill out the application. So , go fill out your application and maybe I can become a member of your family and join you on your next road trip.
4/1/2018 Update: Bucklynn here, I had a great time at the SmokeHouse a couple of weeks ago, and couln’t wait to tell my foster sister all about it. I was able to meet lots of great people. But it was too hot outside and my FM and FD had to take me home. They told me I was a “Delicate Flower” and shouldn’t be in the heat to long. So we went home and I was able to get some more sleep and rest up for dinner. Hope you like my new picture, I just love my foster sister. Hope you see you all at the next event. Come out and say “hi”, I just love meeting new people.
2/14/2018 Update: Bucklynn here, my foster mom and dad say I am the best dog ever, and always want to be by their side. I don’t know what any of that means, but I will tell you, sometimes I move my foster sister out of my way so I can be near my foster dad. I tell him, see I like to talk a lot, but he just looks at me like he doesn’t know what I am saying, so I just get louder. Nothing else going on with me this week, so I hope everyone has a great week and a very Happy Valentine’s Day!
Mom and Dad couldn’t take me to the last event, but they promised to take me to the next one. I love to go for car rides and meet new people. So, on that note, hope to see you all at the next event.
1/14/2018 Update: The very astute Bucklynn keeps impressing her foster family with how quickly she learns commands (Sit, Laydown, Stay and let’s go). Bucklynn loves to play with her toys specially the ones she sneaks away from her Fur Sister. She also has this amazing ability to hold a conversation with you, which is always a good time. Bucklynn is always ready to go, so come out to the next event and meet her for yourself.
12/10/2017 Update:
Bucklynn had a good time at the Cork and Growler event this last Saturday even thou she didn’t get any beer. Bucklynn meet some really nice people and made a couple of new FurFriends. Bucklynn did get a little nervous when she saw Santa Claus (I guess she thinks she was Naughty this year) and just wanted to go back to her Foster Daddy (AKA Pack Master). Bucklynn loves to go for car rides, she usually just sits and looks out the window. But depending on how long the ride is, in bulldog fashion, she will take a nap.
Bucklynn also experienced a Christmas Party this weekend and she was an excellent host. She greeted everyone at the door and had very good hostess manners. She mingled with all the guest and made her rounds for lots of belly rubs. The party wore her out and she sleep most of the next morning. We think she is resting up for New Year’s Eve!
11/27/2017 Update: Miss Bucklynn is truly adjusting well to her new setting and absolutely loves her foster sisters. They enjoy a good game of Tug of war with the rings, a little bulldog wrestling, but nothing too crazy like jumping off the 3rd rope or anything like that. Bucklynn is not a sore loser when she is gets pin down for the count.
She no longer waits for her foster parents to open the doggy door for her to go outside to do her business; Bucklynn now knows how to open her own doggy door (Miss Independent) and is on a morning and evening feeding schedule, which she now looks forward to. She has gained two more pounds but is heading in the right direction on filling in her girly figure…
You can always count on Bucklynn to talk to you about her day and will sometime cut you off when you are telling her about yours. She will be a great addition to any bulldog loving family.
11/12/2017 Update:
Bucklynn has adjusted well with her new foster family. After a short visit with Dr H, Bucklynn is Hart worm negative 😊, Yipee! She has been getting along very well with her Foster Sisters. After dinner, they play until bed time, or until one decides they are too tired to continue. Bucklynn had a great time at the event last Sunday, she met a whole lot of new people and was the bell of the ball! She even helped man the merchandise booth….anything for more attention. She likes going for car rides, jumps right in, then after a couple of minutes of looking out the window, she sits back, then falls asleep. She has also mastered the doggy door. Bucklynn will sit on command, not jump on the furniture and can sometime be a serious talker when she feels no one is paying attention to her.
She enjoys her days just being next to you. Oh, and maybe a treat or two.
11/5/2017 Update:
Please welcome Bucklynn to the No Borders Bulldog Rescue family. Bucklynn is a 5.5 year old female English Bulldog that weighs 40 lbs.
Bucklynn joins the NBBR rescue family as an owner surrender. Bucklynn’s family encountered some changes in their family (additional family member, new job) and unfortunately they did not have the necessary time to devote to her. Feeling this was not the best situation for Bucklynn they made the hard decision to allow her to find a new forever family. Her family reached out to NBBR to ask if we would help Bucklynn in this journey.
Bucklynn joined her foster family last night and settled in nicely. She will be making a quick stop at the clinic to get a check up and clean bill of health. Although Bucklynn looks to be well taken care of and in great shape, we don’t want to assume anything.
Bucklynn is a small girl with a BIG personality. She was giving out puppy kisses to our volunteer that picked her up and transported her to her foster family. We will be gathering more information about Bucklynn in the coming weeks so we can help find the perfect forever family for her.
