12/30/2017 Update:

Delilah was ADOPTED!!!!  We are so happy to announce Miss Delilah has found her forever family and 2018 will be a happy one.

Delilah joined the NBBR family as an owner surrender.  She was used as a breeding female for the first six years of her live. Then she was adopted by a family that ultimately didn’t have time for her and kept her in a crate 10-12 hours a day. The family finally decided it was best for Delilah to be able to find a new forever family.

Delilah only asked Santa for one thing this Christmas: A forever family that would shower her with the attention she has always craved.   Delilah was somewhat disappointed when Christmas arrived and she was still with her foster family.  While she LOVED her foster family, she wanted a forever family of her very own.  Little did she know, her forever family had their eyes on Delilah for some time. They had actually been approved to adopt with NBBR before Christmas but because of scheduling, they were unable to do a Meet and Greet until today.  While her potential forever family knew she would be perfect for them, they needed to make sure Delilah and her new forever fur brother would get along.  When they met at the park all tails were wagging (well, her foster brother’s tail was wagging, since Delilah doesn’t really have a tail, it was hard to tell what was going on back there).   But it was immediately apparent they liked each other and all they wanted to do was play.  Once Delilah received the stamp of approval from her new forever fur brother, she turned her attention to her new forever Dad and sister.  To say Delilah was working it is a mild understatement. She was bouncing around, wanting everyone to pet her and giving kisses out to her entire family.   While Delilah’s Christmas wish may have been a few days late, it couldn’t have worked out any better for her.  Congratulations to Delilah and her entire new forever family. May 2018 be a very special year and each following year be more special than the last.

11/27/2017 Update:

Delilah had a very calm and thankful Thanksgiving for having no health issues and having a loving, warm home. No turkey or fixings as she is watching her weight, but she is very content and as always a love bug! She would really be thankful for a home where someone was always home for her to be loved on constantly and to be the only princess. For now she knows she is loved and safe and that is the most important!

11/19/2017 Update:  Delilah here! I’m just being my normal adorable ham self-oops did I say ham!? A little too close to that big eating day and I don’t want someone to confuse me for that-Not! HaHa, gotcha! I’ve just been stretching out and snuggling up with my foster daddies. They have each been busy working away from the home these days and usually at least one of them fellows is home and I ❤️ when I can have someone with me all day long! Nothing too exciting cause I make my day of napping and stretching out and rolling on my back ooh that feels soooo good! Night everyone!

11/12/2017 Update:  And on behalf of sweet, adorable Delilah-Delilah is doing wonderful! Nothing much going on in her life except eating up all the attention she can get and she gets a heaping helping of that for sure! Always wants to know where your at and seems to sleep with one eye open just to make sure she’s not missing out. The only thing noticed that she does not like is rattling of papers, she cowers and clinches so I have to make sure she knows it was not directed to her. Delilah gets along with every being as long as she is center of attention!

10/30/2017 Update:  Precious Delilah is doing superb and always wants to cuddle, I mean Always! She’s such a treat without any much of any tricks…

10/23/2017 Update:  Delilah had a Fabulous time Saturday at 3 Nations Brewery! She was in her own little heaven and didn’t even notice that other 4-legged comrades were there just the attention she was receiving from everyone & she Loves everyone!!!

on a side note, Frenchie  (Delilah’s foster brother) apologizes for hiking his leg into the water dish.  Uggghhh Foster brothers can be such a pain at times.

8/13/2017 Update:  Please welcome Delilah to No Borders Bulldog Rescue.  Delilah is an 8 year old French Bulldog weighing approximately 27 lbs.

Delilah initially lived as a breeding dog until a family bought her two years ago.  With her new family, Delilah found herself living in a crate for 10-12 hours per day when their work schedules changed.  Delilah had other fur siblings that were given free reign of the house, but because she was not potty trained she had to stay in the crate.  They made the decision to find her a new home as they were not able to dedicate the time Delilah needed.
Delilah arrived in Dallas on Saturday and went to see our friends at Hollywood Feed for a bath before heading to her foster home.  Delilah has never met a stranger.  Delilah greets everyone and makes it known she would like to be scratched – whether she gives you a longing stare or makes herself comfortable on your lap.  And if you stop the loving before she is ready, she will gently let you know it was not time for the scratching to end.
This sweet girl will be heading to the clinic in the morning for vaccinations and a complete check up.   Stay tuned as we learn more about her.
