9/23/2017 Update:

Dolly was ADOPTED!!!! We are so excited to announce Dolly has found her forever family.

Dolly joined the No Borders Bulldog Rescue family as an owner surrender.  The family had purchased her from a local breeder and found she was “too much” for them.  That was 3 months ago.  When Dolly joined her foster family, she was very timid and scared of most everything.  While still a little timid at first, Dolly warms up quickly and enjoys the company of everyone around her.

Dolly’s forever family was looking for a Bulldog to complete the family. They currently have a boxer that likes to play and needed a younger new sibling.  In addition to her canine sibling, Dolly is the first NBBR Bulldog to get a turtle sibling. Yes, you read that correctly, Dolly now has two siblings, a boxer and a turtle, in addition to her new forever Mom and Dad.   When Dolly initially met her forever parents she was shy and timid at first but it didn’t take long before she was in her Mom’s lap enjoying cuddle time.  Congratulations to Dolly and her entire new family.  Another match made in heaven.

6/12/2017 Update:  Dolly is all puppy. She loves attention and to chew on your hand. She also occasionally shows up with a shoe or sock in her mouth.

She does great with my kids ,10 and up, not sure about toddlers but I’m guessing great.
She does great with our cat…our cat on the other hand wants nothing to do with her.

6/9/2017 Update:  Please welcome Dolly to the No Borders Bulldog Rescue family.  Dolly is an 8 month old female English Bulldog that weighs 55 lbs.

Dolly joins the NBBR family as a well taken care of owner surrender. Dolly is 100% Bulldog puppy and for a family that didn’t realize what they were getting, has proven too much for them. She LOVES to play and like most Bulldog puppies does not realize her size and strength.  This was making things at her previous home very stressful for her much smaller, older fur sibling.  Based on this stress, her family decided that it wasn’t fair to either dog to maintain their current living situation.  At that point, her family made the difficult to ask for help in finding Dolly a new forever home.

The first step for Dolly will be to the clinic for a complete check-up. From there she will join her foster family to settle in for the weekend. Dolly is a loving, energetic Bulldog puppy that will be best in a patient family that is willing to work with her to learn inside and outside behavior. As smart as Dolly is, it won’t take long at all before she has her manners mastered and has found that forever home she needs
