10/7/2017 Update:

Frenchy was ADOPTED!!!! Frenchy has completed his journey and found his forever family.

Frenchy joined the NBBR rescue family after his previous owners complained he peed all over the house. While discussing him with his previous owners it was found he was being kept in a crate for over 12 hours at a time AND when we took him to the clinic he had an untreated UTI.  Once his UTI was treated Frenchy was a new man, uh dog. He did still have some potty training issues but those were quickly addressed by his foster family.

Frenchy’s new forever family really wasn’t looking for a dog. They had recently lost their longtime companion and had decided to wait until their hearts told them it was time for a new dog.  In the meantime, they decided they would foster with NBBR to be able to help a dog in need.  Well….. you guessed it,  Frenchy was their first foster and it was like divine intervention.  Frenchy immediately blossomed in his new environment.  Frenchy not only hit the JACKPOT with getting one but TWO Dads and he is now the “big brother” of the house and is showing his new foster sister the ropes while helping her prepare for her own forever home.  Frenchy is the Prince of the house, is spoiled rotten and he knows it. Congratulations to the entire family.

7/16/2017 Update: Frenchie had a great time visiting Saturday at Hollywood Feed! It tuckered him out. Still very lovable and wants to please and obey. He does get a bit sidetracked and in his own little world as do many of us-still needs constant watch during days as his potty training is important to take many trips out and very much still attached and doesn’t like to be left alone. He’s a good boy!

6/14/2017 Update:

Please welcome Frenchy to the No Borders Bulldog Rescue family. Frenchy is an 8 year old French Bulldog that weighs 25 lbs.

Frenchy joined the NBBR family as an owner surrender.  He has had a bumpy ride in life to say the least.  In 2014 he was found abandoned at an apartment complex where his previous family adopted him.  After a few years together they determined that he wasn’t fitting in with the rest of the family.  Frenchy began marking on things in the house, tried to run away and cried when he was tied outside.  Also do to changes in their working schedule, Frenchy was spending LONG periods of time alone in his crate. So, his family decided it would be best for Frenchy if he were able to find a new forever home.

Frenchy’s first stop after joining the NBBR family was to the clinic.  It was determined that he has a severe UTI, skin infection and needed neutered.  Not only did he need neutered but he had an partially undescended testicle that would make his surgery more difficult.  Even with the surgery taking a little longer than anticipated, Frenchy came through with flying colors.  He is now resting comfortably with his new foster family. He will be on antibiotics for his UTI and a topical spray to address his skin infection.

Frenchy is a typical French Bulldog…. he is very energetic and loves to play. He also likes to snuggle but only when HE is ready.  Frenchy will be working on his inside manners so that he will no longer mark in the house.  He is a very smart dog and with love and attention he should become the gentleman we know he can be.  Stay tuned for more information on this little guy as he begins to heal, learns his inside manners AND begins his search for his new forever family.
