North Texas Giving Day

What is North Texas Giving Day?

North Texas Giving Day is an online giving event for people across the nation (and the world!) to come together to raise as much money as possible for North Texas nonprofits on one day: September 23, 2021. In seven years, North Texas Giving Day has pumped $119 million into the North Texas community. In 2015, $33 million was raised through more than 118,000 gifts benefiting 2,020 nonprofits. YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE IN TEXAS TO PARTICIPATE AND ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

When is North Texas Giving Day?

The Official Giving Day 2021 is Thursday, September 23, from 6 AM Central – Midnight.  HOWEVER- you can pre-schedule your donation NOW.

Who created North Texas Giving Day?

Communities Foundation of Texas, a leading 63-year-old community foundation headquartered in Dallas, TX, created North Texas Giving Day in 2009. North Texas Giving Day was one of the first—and is the largest—community-wide giving days in the country.

Why is it important to No Borders Bulldog Rescue?

The North Texas Giving Day accounts for well over 50% of all funds raised by NBBR.  The monies raised during this 18 hour fundraiser, allow us to expand our mission throughout the year.   Each dollar raised goes directly to the care of the Bulldogs in our program.   NBBR covers all medical, emotional and training needs for each Bulldog we rescue until they are adopted by their forever families.  The ongoing pandemic has hit all non-profits hard and NBBR is no exception.   We have experienced a “double whammy”:  fundraising opportunities have decreased while families requesting to surrender their pets has increased exponentially.  Won’t you make a donation today?  No amount is to small.
