4/22/2017 Update:  Paxton  was ADOPTED!!!!!  It is with great pleasure we announce Paxton  has found his very own forever home.

Paxton had a very rocky road for such a young puppy. He was sold to a family that after a short time returned him to the breeder and stated they no longer wanted him or could deal with his issues.  From there, Paxton found his way to rescue.  Paxton was an instant hit with NBBR and our followers.  Such a hit that he had MANY, MANY applicants interested in adopting him. This was great news but left the NBBR staff with a lot of work to find the right family for him.

While sorting through the stack of applications one application seemed to be “the one”, on paper at least. Once the family was approved, it was time for the all important Meet and Greet. Once Paxton meet the applicants there was no doubt that he had found his forever home.

Paxton now has two fur siblings to play with and a devoted forever family to spoil her. Congratulations to Shelby and her entire family.

4/21/2017 Update:   Paxton had a really good weekend. He just hung out with his fur fosters and his human foster.  Not much has changed. Still working on potty training but he is getting bigger and eating like a hog 😁.  He is getting ready to join his furever family on Saturday morning @9:00am.  It’s bitter sweet but we are happy for him.  He’s the sweetest.

3/27/2017 Update:  It’s been an uneventful week for Paxton.  Spent the weekend enjoying with sun with his foster siblings and eating an apple for the first time.

He’s still working on house training but I think he’s catching on.

3/20/2017 Update:  He is doing so good.  We took out his stitches and he is healed well.  Paxton is a definite cuddler and loves his foster sibling.  He likes playing tug of war and we are working on commands.   He sits and lays.  We are working on high five and stay.

3/16/2017 Update:  Paxton is doing well.  Paxton has had his hernia surgery and is recovering nicely. He is complete puppy with the boundless energy that a Bulldog has.  He also has a quiet, softer side to his personality. You could say he is the best of all worlds.  We have received MANY applications for Paxton.  We are working as quickly as possible to process all of them and to find the family that is the best fit for this little guy.  If you have applied, please be patient we are working as fast as we can.

3/6/2017 Update:  Where to start…. he is ALL puppy and is giving his foster siblings a run for their money.   He is coming along on potty training and is still well with kennels.  Paxton has even begun to sit better and now lays down when you say down.  He loves to snuggle and give kisses.

2/28/2017 Update:

Please welcome Paxton to the No Borders Bulldog Rescue family.  Paxton is a 4 month old English Bulldog puppy that weighs 20 lbs.

Paxton joined the NBBR family today as an owner surrender. While we have had sibling combos surrendered to our Rescue, we have never had a parent/child duo surrendered (until now).  Paxton is Penny’s baby.  Paxton’s mom (Penny) found herself pregnant and delivered her litter naturally last fall. Unfortunately, all the puppies died except Paxton.

Paxton was then sold to a family that was supposed to be his forever home. After about a month, the family contacted Paxton’s previous owners and explained that they would need to return him due to allergies (just like his Mom).  The family had just surrendered Paxton’s Mom (Penny) to NBBR for the same reason. They called NBBR and asked if we had room for little Paxton as well. I bet you can guess the answer they received.

Paxton is currently at the clinic getting a checkup. In addition to his checkup he will have surgery to fix a large hernia that is present where his umbilical cord attached.  Dr. H felt like this hernia was something that needed to be addressed as soon as possible.  Paxton is obviously in great hands and he will join his new foster family tomorrow.

While Paxton is one of the cutest puppies you will EVER see, it appears that his Dad may not have been 100% English Bulldog.  At 4 months old and 20 lbs. Paxton appears to be  taking after his Mom’s small stature. Paxton is all puppy.  He has energy to spare and loves to play, play and play some more. Paxton does have a calm and loving side, which was apparent when he curled up on his transporter’s lap and began to snore.

If you are looking for a puppy like Paxton to complete your family, you had better hurry and get your application submitted because this boy is going to have people standing in line.
