8/20/2016 Update:  Sami was ADOPTED today!!!What an exciting day for Sami!  No Borders Bulldog Rescue is excited to share that Sami has found her forever home.  After a short month with her foster family, Sami’s allergies have significantly decreased, her fur has grown in beautifully, and her ears and skin are free of all infection!  Sami is absolutely beautiful with a loving, gentle and kind personality.  Her new Mom, Dad, and fur-brother welcomed her into their family by spending a leisurely morning at the dog park climbing on big rocks, running, and getting to know each other.  Once Sami arrived at her new home, her dad took her and her new brother on a walk and then they shared a snack!  Sami is getting settled into her new home quite nicely, and we are certain she will continue to be treated as the perfect princess that she is.

7/15/2016 Update: Please welcome Sami to the No Border Bulldog Family. Sami is a 3  yr. old Olde English Bulldog that weighs 55 lbs.  Although Sami is only 3 yrs old, she has had a difficult life.  Sami was originally living in a home where they kept her outside. Sami had allergies and it was apparent she needed to be a inside dog. She saved by a  loving neighbor and was instantly an indoor dog. Unfortunately, Sami’s new found home was short lived. Her new owner had to relocate, take a new job and move into a new home. The new apartment complex that her owner had to move into would not allow Sami to join the family.  So, her family made the very difficult decision to allow Sami to join rescue and find her new forever home. Sami has allergies and will need to go to the clinic to determine to what is the best course of treatment for her.  Once that happens she will begin her journey to find her forever family.

7/17/2016 Update: Good Afternoon!  My name is Sami, I’m a three year old Olde English Bulldog that recently moved in with my Foster Mom and Dad.  It has been a very fun but busy last three days!  I took a very exciting car ride from San Antonio to Dallas, Texas and had a great time.  I love riding in the car!!!  My new foster mom keeps telling me how sweet I am and that I’m such a good girl.  I am completely house trained and once I knew where the door was, I was all set!  On Saturday, I went to my new vet.  He noticed that I have some patches of fur on me that are kind of thin.  He said I have a lot of allergies, and some skin infections but that I will be all fixed up soon.  He also said I had a little bladder infection but that will be gone in a few days (my foster mom promised me that!)  When I got home that afternoon, my foster mom gave me this amazing bath with some special shampoo.  I loved it.  My fur feels like velvet now and I smell good too.  At my foster house, there are two bulldogs.  The younger one loves to play and she kept asking me to wrestle with her.  I finally agreed to play and we had so much fun.  The big brother wanted to play too!

I love snack time…..  I also tasted a new thing called Coconut Oil.  It’s delicious and mom and dad said it will help me so much with my fur.  Please keep watching for my updates, I can’t wait to meet everyone at our next event on August 13th at 11am – 2pm at Hollywood Feed at 5600 Colleyville Blvd Colleyville, TX.  My sweetness will melt you!!!
