12/26/2017 Update:

Tyson was ADOPTED!!!!!  What better way to wrap up the Holidays than getting your very own forever family??? There isn’t one.. just ask Tyson.

Tyson joined the NBBR family a couple of months ago when his previous owners moved to the DFW area and rented a home where there was a NO DOG policy.  At that time they decided Tyson would have to be surrendered.

Today was the big day for Tyson, his forever Moms drove several hours to pick him up. Actually,  his forever Moms made the trip THREE times in the last ten days.  The first trip was to meet another NBBR Bulldog. Although the meet and greet went well, it was ultimately determined that particular dog was not a perfect fit. While they were devastated, they knew the right Bulldog was out there.  Initially they were looking for a female Bulldog, but when they heard about Tyson they decided to meet him.  That meant they would be making another trip to the DFW area. And the meet and greet could not have been better.  Tyson’s Foster Mom said it was like watching them fall in love in slow motion upon meeting one another. Not only did Tyson cast a spell on his foster Moms, but he charmed his new fur sister as well.  To say they were excited would be an understatement.  So much so, they made their third trip in ten days so they didn’t have to be apart from Tyson any longer than necessary.  Even though it was cold and rainy this morning for his adoption, there was nothing but love and happiness from all involved. Tyson posed for his adoption pictures and quickly hopped into the car to make his way to his new forever home.  It might have been a day late but in our opinion Tyson got the BEST Christmas present ever…. A new FOREVER home. Congratulation to Tyson and his entire family.

12/24/2017 Update:

Tyson here, I had a great meet and greet yesterday, in which it was love at first sight on both ends! My potential adopters brought me a stocking with treats and a toy yesterday and that was a surprise, I quickly learned to follow whoever had the stocking in their hand!! I got to meet my new sister, I like her, she is so small and I know I will be able to protect and love her like no other.  I quickly fell in love with my new moms and I heard them telling my FM what a beautiful boy I was and I couldn’t have been happier. Even though it was cold, I didn’t want to leave because they were showering me with love and adoration, and I like that…A LOT!!

I only wanted 1 thing for Christmas this year, and it looks like I was a good boy and Santa is going to bring it to me……a FOREVER home with lots of love, attention and one where I will surly rule the roost!!! I hear I’m going to have a big yard, a garden to help in and a fire in the fire pit at night while I lounge next to my new family.

On my way home yesterday my FM stopped to get something to eat and I protected her food for her. She kept saying what a good boy I was and how she had never seen a Bulldog not try and eat the bag of food……I was just hoping she would give me a bite 😬😬😬

Hopefully the next update will be family photos with my new forever family!!!!! I can’t wait!!!

To all my fellow fosters, I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Santa brings you the same thing!!!!

Much Love Always,
🐾 Tyson🐾

11/19/2017 Update:  Tyson is settling in at his new foster parents house really well and has found his place in the pecking order and even a spot he likes to lay. He really is the best dog ever. He is so laid back and will soak up all the love you will give him. He loves to play with you and will always roll over and let you scratch his belly at a moment’s notice. He does really good with dogs AND cats. He was a bit curious of the cats at first, but with a simple correction he comes right back to you. He now could care less about those furry creatures and even likes the one that comes up to him while he is sleeping and licks his ear!!!! Tyson’s favorite thing in the whole world is of course treats!!! You do not even need to tell him to sit, if he sees you getting treats out, his little bulldog booty goes right to the floor in anticipation of the tasty treat that is coming. If you are interested in adopting Tyson and haven’t already gotten your application in, you better get it in quick, because this little guy will find his forever home pretty quick!!

11/12/2017 Update:   Tyson had an uneventful week. He continues to be his normal lazy self and loves sharing kisses with his foster brother. We have figured out that his favorite toy is a tennis ball and will lay on it to hide it. He is not a fan of his ear drops but he deals with it because he knows there is a treat at the end of it.

11/5/2017 Update:  Everyone, meet the worlds best bulldog!

No, seriously, he’s  pretty amazing.

Tyson had a very busy week. He settled in well and suited up to play prisoner as part of his foster brothers Halloween costume. The 3 of them were a total hit, posed for the paparazzi, and even won runner up in a costume contest! Sunday he went to his first car show before meeting everyone at the Truck Yard.

His favorite place to be is at my feet in front of the couch. He does wonderful in his kennel and goes in without complaining; except for when he fake cries in an attempt to make me feel bad. At night he sleeps on his pillow by my bed. He is great with dogs, children, and cats. He is also doing well on learning his commands. While he may not know what stay or down means, he pretty much does what he is told.

Thursday, Tyson was neutered and given medication for a fungal infection in ears and wrinkles. As long as his pills are in peanut butter he does not complain about it.
*BEWARE, he will sneeze in your face if you make happy. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. ❤

11/1/2017 Update:   Please welcome Tyson to the No Borders Bulldog Rescue family.  Tyson is a 4 year old  male English Bulldog that weighs approximately 44 lbs.

Tyson joined the NBBR family as an owner surrender. Tyson and his previous family recently moved to the DFW area from a small town up north. They never consider the place they rented would not allow pets, but because this was the case they were not allowed to keep him.

Tyson is all Bulldog, he is sweet, cuddly and a little bit stubborn (in the good Bulldog way). He gets along with everyone he meets. Tyson does well on a leash and is potty trained.  Tyson does have one issue his foster Mom will be working with him on – he feels the need to mark EVERYTHING, and we mean multiple times.  This is usually a fairly easy habit to break and it should help when Tyson is neutered (today).

All in all, the good outweighs the bad by about 1,000 to 1 with Tyson, so if you are looking for the almost perfect Bulldog, get your application completed.
