3/31/2018 Update:

Madison was ADOPTED!!!! It is with great happiness we are able to announce Madison has found her forever family.

Madison joined the No Borders Bulldog Rescue family as a Guardian Angel surrender.  Through no fault of hers, Madison found herself on social media looking for a new family (translation, for sale).  Madison was listed as being in heat and ready to breed. Madison’s Guardian Angel knew this meant Madison was destined to a life of breeding if she wasn’t rescued. In true Bully Nation fashion, Madison was rescued the same night she was listed on social media. She went immediately to a temporary foster home, then to the clinic and finally her foster family.

Madison’s forever family is no stranger to the NBBR family.  Actually, Madison’s older brother is a NBBR alumnae as well.  In fact, he is the reason they decided to adopt another.  Rocky seemed lonely and they decided he needed a little brother or sister. When Madison joined the NBBR family, they thought she might be the one but weren’t sure if an additional Bulldog would be too much.  Rocky and Madison met and it was love at first sight (at least for Rocky). He just thought Madison was the “bees knees” and followed her around the entire time.  Madison thought Rocky was pretty cool too and thought he would make a great big brother.  Congratulations to the entire family: Mom, Dad, Rocky and most importantly-Madison!!

2/27/2018 Update:

Please welcome Madison to the No Borders Bulldog Rescue family.  Madison is a 19 month old female English Bulldog that weighs 62 lbs.

Madison joins the No Borders Bulldog Rescue as a Guardian Angel surrender.  Through no fault of hers, Madison found herself on social media looking for a new family (translation, for sale).  Madison was being in heat and ready to breed. Madison’s Guardian Angel knew this meant Madison was destined to a life of breeding if she wasn’t rescued. In true Bully nation fashion, Madison was rescued the same night she was listed on social media. She went immediately to a temporary foster home, then to the clinic and finally her foster family.

When Madison was picked up from her previous owners, she didn’t even have a name.  Then there was the small detail of Madison being several hours away from the clinic and her foster family.  But again, in typical NBBR volunteer fashion, our volunteers worked together to get Madison where she needed to be.

When Madison arrived at the clinic she appeared to be in good shape.  We did get some good news for Miss Madison, she is both Heartworm negative and intestinal parasite free.  She was also spayed and will now live a life free of being repeatedly bred for profit.  Madison received the “welcome to Rescue” package and was brought up to date on all of her required vaccinations, started on Heartworm and flea and tick preventative.

Everyone that has met Madison, even for a short amount of time, has said the same thing: “I’m in LOVE, she is the sweetest bulldog EVER”.   While Madison is a sweet Bulldog, in true southern belle fashion, she is not afraid to put her other canine companions in their place with a simple bark.  Madison had a very busy week this week, she is currently settling into her foster family and getting some much needed R&R. Please keep Madison in your thoughts and prayers as she begins her journey to find her new forever family that will shower her with the love and attention she was always meant to have.
